T1F-08DA-2 is an eight channel analog voltage output module developed by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. The module is a member of the Terminator I/O series, providing an array of interfacing capabilities with various devices and programmable logic controllers. Outgoing signals are converted from digital into analog voltage using the module’s 12-bit resolution.
Monitoring current and voltage inputs and outputs helps to prevent device damage. T1F-08DA-2 supports two voltage output ranges: 0 to 5V and 0 to 10 V, ±5V, ±10V. Peak output voltage produced by the module is capped at 15 VDC. It requires a base power of 75 mA at 5 VDC. When installing the module into the controller, a separate mounting base must be purchased for proper installation. Once installed, removal features a simple click function that easily removes the module from the block.
Following all proper safety and installation protocols are necessary to maintain the integrity of T1F-08DA-2. When mounting the device, install it horizontally. This allows air to freely circulate around the module, acting as a cooling agent. Ambient temperatures around the module should also be closely monitored. When installed into a PLC, temperatures can safely range from 32℉ to 131℉, or 0℃ to 50℃. Storage temperature allow for more fluctuations, with temperatures safely allowed to fall to -4℉, or -20℃, and to raise to 158℉, or 70℃.
