Product Description

T1F-08AD-2 is an eight channel analog voltage input module manufactured by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. The device belongs to the Terminator I/O series, with interfacing capabilities possible with a number of programmable logic controllers and peripheral devices. The eight channels of the module all end at a single common on the device. Two voltage input ranges are accepted by the module. Supported ranges include 0-5 V and 0-10 V, ±5V, ±10V. An expected frequency response of -3 db at 500 Hz, -20 db/decade accompanies the module inputs.

Monitoring the input voltages of the module will help to prevent device damage. T1F-08AD-2 requires a base power input of 75 mA at 5 VDC. The module is protected from some surges via a fault protected input. This allows the absolute maximum rating of the module to be 130 V (rms) or 100 VDC. When installing the module, a separately purchased mounting rack is required. Once installed, terminal removal is quick and simple. The modules can snap out of their rack, allowing for fast part replacements.

Follow all outlined storage and installation parameters to maintain the module. T1F-08AD-2 should be installed horizontally, as this allows air to freely circulate the module. Ambient temperatures of the operating facility should be monitored to prevent overheating or damage. When operating temperatures can range as low as 0℃, or 32℉, and as high as 50℃, or 131℉. When not in use, storage temperatures have more flexibility. Acceptable temperatures range from -20℃ to 70℃, or -4℉ to 158℉.
