The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo T1F-08AD-1 is an eight channel analog current input module. This device is a member of the Terminator I/O series of programmable logic controllers and input/output modules. Eight single ended channels terminate into a single common, converting analog current signals into 14-bit digital signals. Three input ranges are available using this module, including -20 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA. A frequency response of -3 db at 500 Hz, with -20db/decade is expected with the input ranges.
Monitoring voltage and current inputs to the device helps to maintain T1F-08AD-1. Base power requires 75 mA at 5 VDC, with an absolute maximum input rating of 8V. The module requires a mounting base, either T1K-08B or T1K-08B-1, which is sold separately. Modules in the Terminator series are easy to install and simpler to remove. The modules can quickly be snapped from the base for easy part replacement.
Following all storage and installation parameters will ensure the longevity of T1F-08AD-1. When mounting, be sure to install the module horizontally so air can circulate, cooling the device. When operating, ambient temperatures of the facility should range from 32℉ to 131℉, or 0℃ to 55℃. If placed in storage, temperatures can range as low as -4℉, or -20℃, and as high as 158℉, or 70℃. Be sure to reference the user manual and datasheet for all installation and wiring instructions.
