The F2-CP128 module is a Triple-port BASIC CoProcessor module that was designed and manufactured by AutomationDirect. AutomationDirect made this product to be a part of the DirectLOGIC 205 series. The F2-CP128 CoProcessor module has three serial ports and has 128K of non-volatile memory. The 128K of non-volatile memory allow the F2-CP128 CoProcessor module to be able to engage in multiple program execution and storage, retentive data retrieval and storage, and DirectLOGIC register expansion. In addition to that, there is a FACTS extended BASIC interpreter, a real time battery backed calendar clock, and a floating point math.
The three ports on the F2-CP128 CoProcessor module each serve a different purpose. The first port is a RS-232 or the RS-422/485 serial interface and is a high performance 115.2K baud maximum that is fully configurable. The second port is a RS-232 or the RS-422/485 serial interface and is a 57.6K baud maximum that is fully configurable. The third port is a RS-232 serial interface and is a 9600 baud maximum that is also fully configurable. All three of these ports are type-a-head input buffers with 255 characters which allow for simultaneous communication with 3+ external devices.
