Product Description

Consider that the DL240, DL250-1 and DL260 CPUs have assigned V-memory locations. The memory locations are assigned to each base slot and are designed to help make programming easier. The V-memory locations specify the number of input and output channels to scan, the storage locations for the input and output data, and the resolution for the inputs.

The F2-8AD4DA-1, 8-Channel In/4-Channel Out Current Analog Combination Module contains features designed to improve reliability, usability, and flexibility.

  • The analog inputs and outputs are optically isolated from the PLC logic.

  • For improved usability and portability, the terminal block is easily removable to ensure the F2-8AD4DA-1, 8-Channel In/4-Channel Out Current Analog Combination Module is easily removable without disconnecting wiring.  

  • All input and output channels can be updated in one scan.

  • You can configure the input resolution independently for each channel. You can select  12 bit, 14 bit, or 16 bit resolution.

The input range is 0–20 mA. The number of input channels is 8, single ended (one common). The loop supply voltage range is 18–26.4 VDC. The power budget requirement is 35mA at 5VDC (supplied by the base). The environmental air requirement is no corrosive gases permitted.  The operating temperature 0-60°C (32-140°F). The relative humidity 5–95% (non-condensing).

You cannot install a F2-8AD4DA-1, 8-Channel In/4-Channel Out Current Analog Combination Module in a CPU slot. However, you can install the F2-8AD4DA-1, 8-Channel In/4-Channel Out Current Analog Combination Module in any local, expansion, or Ethernet remote base of a DL205 system with DL250-1 or DL260 CPU.
