Product Description

D2-32TD2 is a DC output module manufactured by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. It is one of a number of modules developed to communicate with the DirectLogic 205 series of programmable logic controllers. This module features 32 current sourcing output points with 4 isolated commons. Eight output terminal points feed to one isolated commons. The module produces transistor type outputs to relay back to the connected peripheral devices. A supported operating voltage of 12-24 VDC is required, with a peak voltage rating of 30 VDC.

The input and output ranges of both voltages and currents should be monitored to maintain the device. When operating with all points on, the base power requirements are 5V or 350 mA. The maximum load current of a single point is 0.1A, with each common capable of supporting up to 0.8A. The minimum load required by D2-32TD2 is 0.2mA. The module is complete with a green LED status indicator and a 40-pin connector.

Longevity of the device is dependent upon following the outlined storage and installation parameters. Quick installation and removal of D2-32TD2 is a key design feature of the module series. Removal of the terminal block is simple and does not require rewiring of the controller. All derating and wiring charts can be found in the DL205 series manual.
