Product Description

The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo D2-16ND3-2 is a DC input module. This device is one of a number of modules developed to work with the DirectLogic 205 series of programmable logic controllers. It features sixteen sink/source inputs, with two isolated commons connecting them together. The module has a supported input range of 20-28 VDC, peak voltage measuring at 30 VDC. When operating at 24 VDC, the input current measures 6 mA.

D2-16ND3-2 has a number of specific voltage and current requirements that should be monitored. The maximum sustained base power for the module measures at 100 mA. Minimum ON current levels must reach 3.5 mA, while the maximum OFF current registers at 1.5 mA. Voltage levels are also a determining factor in the success of the module. A 19 VDC minimum reading is required for ON voltage level, and 7 VDC is the maximum for OFF voltage level.

Follow all necessary storage and installation parameters to maintain the integrity of D2-16ND3-2. The module’s design features streamlined installation in and removal from the logic controller. Wiring of the controller is uninterrupted during device removal, as the terminal block snaps free.
