Product Description

The D2-09BDC-1 is a Koyo/DirectLogic component.  This is part of the DL205 series and is designed to function as a DL205 I/O base.  The unit has 9 slots and is one of four sizes of bases available, the others being 3-slot, 4-slot, and 6-slot.  All DL205 bases are built with a built-in power supply.  While DL205 modules are considered legacy parts and are not typically available from the OEM, they can be sourced on a regular basis from AX Control. 

The D2-09BDC-1 has nine slots.  The CPU is designed to go into the first slot of the base, next to the power supply.  Each module is designed with a retaining clip that will help seat it into and connect it securely to the base.  These are located at the top and bottom of each module.  

DL205 bases with 9-slots are 14.09 inches wide by 13.14 inches wide by 3.54 inches deep.  Mounting flanges extend slightly from two sides, making the longest dimension measure out at 13.74.   Bases should be mounted horizontally in order to maintain proper ventilation.  The base requires a single point ground using copper stranded wire.   DL205 components are designed for use in locations where no corrosive gases are present and where the ambient humidity is maintained between 30 and 95%, non-condensing.
