The 8-point Output AC Module is one of Automation Direct's plug-in module products. While this is an Automation Direct product, PLC Direct is the company that obtained the contract to create it. As the name implies, the module comes with an 8-point output with 1 common for the module. The common comes with 2 I/O terminal points. There is also one fuse per common on the module. The fuse on this version of the module is non-replaceable. This module has an SSR (Triac) output type of communication. To notify the user of issues and problems, the module comes with a logic side status indicator. The module's purpose is to fit into a DL205 base and weighs 2.8 ounces. This module also has a removable terminal type.

The 8-point Output AC Module has an operating voltage of 15 to 264 VAC. The peak voltage of the device is 264 VAC. The AC frequency is 47 to 63 Hz. The minimum load current for the device is 10 mA. The base power needed for the module to run at 5 VDC is 250 mA. The off/on response of the device is 1 ms, while the on/off response is 1 ms + 1/2 cycle.
