The Facts Engineering F0-2AD2DA-2 is a combination analog voltage module. The device offers two channel in and two channel out connections. It actively converts incoming analog voltage signals into microprocessor digestible digital signals. It then processes outgoing signals back into analog voltage. The module is compatible with DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 programmable logic controllers. The PLC updates all input/output channels in a single scan. Designed for easy transport and use, the terminal blocks can be removed without affecting the wiring of the unit.

The F0-2AD2DA-2 offers user selectable input ranges, allowing selected ranges of 0-5VDC and 0-10VDC. An installed jumper on the module allows for this selection. As it interacts with the controller’s computer, there are specific software requirements that must be met to operate the module. When installing the unit into a DL05 series controller, DirectSOFT32 version 3.0c or later and firmware version 3.30 or later are required. If using a DL06 PLC instead, DirectSOFT32 version V4.0, build 16 or later and firmware version 1.00 or later are needed.

Longevity of the device is dependent upon following all outlined storage and installation parameters. When installed in a controller, ambient temperatures can range between 0℃ and 60℃, or 32℉ and 140℉. Storage temperatures have more flexibility, with the lowest sustained temperature reading -20℃, or -4℉, and the highest reading 70℃, or 158℉.
