Product Description

The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F0-08DAH-2 is an eight channel analog voltage output module. It is one of the modules designed to communicate with DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 series programmable logic controller. Specifically, this module converts digital signals from the PLC into outgoing analog voltage signals. When the module is scanned by the controller, each of the eight channels is updated in a single scan. Designed for easy use, the terminal block of the module can be removed from the controller without having to rewire the entire unit.

A full 16-bit resolution produces precise, high quality conversions from this high definition module. Certain software requirements must be met for the module to work properly. When installed in a DL05 PLC, firmware version 5.20 or later and DirectSOFT32 version 3.0c or later is required. If installed in a DL06 controller instead, firmware version 2.30 or later and DirectSOFT32 version v4.0, build 16 or later are needed.

To ensure the longevity of the module, be sure to follow all proper storage and installation parameters. If not in use and placed in storage, temperatures can fall as low as -4℉, or -20℃, and can raise as high as 158℉, or 70℃. Once installed in a DL05/06 controller, ambient temperatures can range from 32℉ to 131℉, or 0℃ to 55℃. Technical support for the module was originally provided by Automation Direct.
