About the F0-08ADH-1
The Automation Direct F0-08ADH-1 is an analog current input module. Developed for the DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 series, this eight-channel module is compatible with both series' programmable logic controllers. This unit converts incoming analog signals into 16-bit digital signals compatible with the controller. The internal CPU of the PLC reads each of the eight channels in a single scan. Module installation is simple, with terminal blocks easily removable without rewiring the controller.
There are some wiring guidelines to follow for the F0-08ADH-1. Some of these guidelines are:
- Use the shortest wiring route
- Avoid running the signal wire next to heavy machinery
- Use shielded wiring
A 16-bit resolution ensures that the data conversions F0-08ADH-1 make are accurate and precise. Active analog filtering combined with an integrated microprocessor further ensures precise conversion accuracy. As the module interacts with microprocessors, specific software requirements must be met.
