Product Description

EA1-T6CL is a C-more micro touch screen operator interface that is manufactured by Automation Direct. This 5.7 inch interface has a TFT color LCD, 320 x 240 pixel display. The display has 32K colors, an LED backlight, 5 user defined function keys, a USB B port, a NEMA 4/4X IP65 rated case (for indoor use only), and an RS-232 / RS-485 / 422 (15-pin D-sub) port. The display supports landscape and portrait modes.

The C-more Micro-Graphic panels can be identified by their part number. “EA7” indicates that the display panel is part of the Micro-Graphic series by Automation Direct. The next digit indicates the display type, wherein S = STN and T = TFT. The next digit is the display size, wherein 3 = 3” and 6 = 6”. The next digit is the display color, wherein M = Monochrome and C = Color. The next digit is the backlight color, wherein blank = red, green, amber, lime, yellow, and W = white, pink1, pink2, pink3, red. The last digit indicates the features, wherein blank=touch screen and N=non touch screen.

Optional accessories for the C-more Micro-Graphic panel include the DC power adapter (EA-MG-P1), the serial port with a DC power adapter (EA-MG-SP1), and the clear screen overlay (EA-MG-COV-CL). There are 2 ports associated with these panels. One is a built-in RS-232 serial communications port. The other is an attachment (EA-MG-SP1) port that supports RS-232, RS-485, and RS-422. There are three ways to mount this panel: via port 1, or in one of two keypad bezel cutouts. The programming software must be installed before the operator can begin to work on a project. Connect the graphic panel to a computer and apply power to the system. Then connect the panel to the PLC.
