EA1-S3MLW-N is a C-more micro non-touch screen operator interface that is manufactured by Automation Direct. This 3.1 inch interface has an STN LCD monochrome, 128 x 64 pixel display. The screen has 5 selectable colors (white, pink1, pink2, pink3, or red), as well as a high-contrast white LED backlight, 5 user defined function keys, an RS-232 (RJ12) port, and a NEMA 4/4X IP65 rated case (for indoor use only). The display only supports landscape mode. The input voltage range is 5.0 VDC. The input power is supplied via the RJ12 serial communications port, or via an external 12-24 VDC power source when using the DC power adapter.

The size of the viewing area is 2.789 inches (W) x 1.385 inches (H), and the size of the active area is 2.670 inches (W) x 1.259 inches (H). The contrast can be adjusted from the panel’s built-in configuration setup menu. The user memory is 768 kbytes, and up to 999 screens can be supported on this display. The beep is internal. The touchscreen is designed to respond to a single touch. If it is touched at multiple points at the same time, an unexpected object may be activated. The life of the touch screen is a minimum of 1 million cycles. Operation requires 51 grams of force [0.5 N] maximum. The power consumption is 1.05 W at 5 VDC (210 mA). The maximum inrush current is 1 A for 500 µs. The acceptable maximum external power drop is 1 ms.
