EA7-T8C

Product Description

The EA7-T8C is an Automation Direct C-More Series 8.4 Inch full-color touch panel that features more than 64,000 colors on its 640 x 480 pixel VGA screen.   This product was also sold as the KOYO EA7-T8C touch panel and the Direct Logic EA7-T8C.   It is no longer manufactured.  The C-More series was designed as a drop-in replacement for EZTouch Panels, also from Automation Direct.  The EA7-T8C is compatible with the EZ-S8C-F, the EZ-S8C-FS, and the EZ-S8C-FST.  

The  EA7-T8C features an analog touch screen that has no touch cell boundaries; this means the touch screen should only be touched at a single point at any given time to avoid activating an unintended object.  The screen allows for multiple overlapping active devices.  The display is backlit. 

The EA7-T8C uses RS422/485, RS232, and Ethernet 10/100 Base-T communications, as well as Ethernet.  The unit can be programmed via Ethernet or USB.   The unit supports trend data logging and has a built-in e-mail client, web server, and FTP client/server.    The onboard event manager allows users to initiate screen captures, send emails, or send data files based on schedules, state changes, or PLC tag names in the database environment.
