The Automation Direct EA7-T15C is a 15 inch human machine interface touch panel display. A member of the C-more EA7 series, this panel offers a dynamic 10-bit 1024x768 pixel analog resistive touch panel. The screen features a full-color TFT LCD display, capable of supporting 65,536 bright colors. Internally, the touch display houses a 32-Bit RISC CPU with 64 MB of SDRAM and 64 MB of FLASH memory. As there is an integrated CPU, quick memory and data transfers happen seamlessly when connected to a LAN or USB. EA7-T15C requires 24VDC that can be drawn from a 100-240VAC 50/60Hz using an AC/DC power adapter.
Integrated I/O ports allow this touch panel to offer an easy to use interface system. Featured on the drive are two USB ports and a serial PLC interface port. The USB ports allow for device input as well as programming data and information transfers. An Ethernet standard 10-100 Base-T port creates a LAN for inter-device communication. One audio line out port can connect to an amplifier and speaker to play status or error messages. An optional CompactFlash port grants the user an expanded file storage space. The largest of the EA7 series, EA7-T15C measures 13.00in (H) x 16.748in (W) x 1.0481in (D) and weighs 7.01 pounds.

EA7-T15C supports computer mirroring to allow for users to remotely view and interact with the touch panel. Both the visible screen and background running screens can be mirrored on a separate computer. Visual monitoring and configuration of various PLC programmers and devices are also supported on the display, easily displaying to the user. Several languages and fonts are supported on EA7-T15C, including English, Spanish, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Taiwanese.
Following proper operational and installation parameters is necessary to maintaining the integrity of the panel. When not in use, storage temperatures can range from -4℉ to 140℉, or -20℃ to 60℃. When in use, ambient temperatures of the facility EA7-T15C operates in should fall between 32 to 122℉, or 0℃ to 50℃. Technical support originally was provided through Automation Direct.
