Product Description

This unit is classified as the 8440-1666 model within the Woodward Inc. series of synchronizer modules. This module is one of the many industrial generator components available from AX Control Inc.’s inventory of hardware and equipment. The 8440-1666 unit is available both a part of our new surplus products and as a used, optimized and reconditioned hardware. The 8440-1666 is designated as a part of the Woodward SPM-D11 series of load share synchronizer modules. The SPM-D11 series of units includes the standard capability of automatic matching for frequency, phases, as well as voltage levels. These units were designed to be integrated into industrial generator systems are three-phase, alternating current systems, outfitted with either a Woodward speed control and voltage regulator, but is also capable of being integrated into a system with similarly designed components. The 8440-1666 is physically designed with a protective casing, an APRANORM type housing with a rating of IP42 on the front of the unit, and then IP24 on the back side of the case. The dimensions of this module is a standard 144 mm x 72 mm x 122 mm, and weighs at least 800 g. The 8440-1666 is outfitted with a two line liquid crystal display interface to provide operators of access to on-site diagnostics and alarm indication. This helps in ensuring the 8440-1666 is operating smoothly and no issues arise within the generator system.
