This unit 5448-891 is a part of the SPM-D Synchronizer series. The 5448-891 digital synchronizer is designed to be integrated into a three-phase, Alternating Current generator. This model has several options for operating, such as the R2, UF, and VJH options. The R2 is able to provide users with the ability to reverse and can monitor reduced and overloaded power. The UF option is 1 ph, and provides Generator over and under voltage monitoring, as well as over and under frequency monitoring. The VJH option also provides this as a main functionality, as well as the phase shift monitoring. 

The 5448-891 unit is able to provide generators with automatic frequency, phase, and voltage matching, using either the analog or discrete output bias signals. This unit is protected with a user selected password, and is configurable either through the human/machine interface, or through the USB connected ToolKit configuration module.
