Product Description

This unit is one of the several Woodward Inc. devices available in our inventory. In stock with us are several models of their Digital Synchronizer and Load Control units, as well as the Master Synchronizer and Load Control units and the SPM-A Synchronizer modules. This unit is listed under the numerical designation 9905-002. It is classified as one of the SPM-A Synchronizers. The 9905-002 unit is designed to be mounted and attached to an industrial generator module, and biases the speed of it while offline. This unit is designed as a phase-locked loop synchronizer and is able to accurately match the frequency and phase. This is so they will match the levels of another generator or the utility bus it is attached to. Once matched, it automatically issues a closure contact signal, in order to close the circuit between the two. The frequency range of the 9905-002 is the standard 50 to 60 hertz. This unit’s phase angle is +/- 10 degrees. This model is capable of voltage matching at 1 percent capacity. The standard input specifications for this unit include a bus and generator voltage ranging from 115 to 230 V/AC, and a voltage tolerance around +/- 10 percent. The outputs that this unit is outfitted with includes a high impedance output for 2301 load sharing, a low impedance output for 2301A, EPG, and 2500 load sharing, and an EPG output for EPG controls without load sharing.
