Product 8237-1595 is an over-speed detection device that is part of the Protech-GII series through Woodward. It’s equipped with MPU detection in addition to acceleration detection and can work on turbines of any size. It will safely shut down steam, gas, and hydro turbines if they begin to speed up too quickly. This bulkhead mount also comes with a sulfur-resistant coating. This has been shown to be effective in the long run against H2S and S02 gases. This device is functional in class 3C2 environments, and it uses 2 out of 3 voted architectures.
