Product Description

Features permitted by this design and hardware vote configuration include:

  • Hot replacement – individual units can be replaced while the prime mover is online
  • Built-in self-test – speed sensing units may be tested one at a time without causing a trip

 

Speed-sensing units A, B, and C have separate 24 Vdc power supplies. Model 9907-346 is an energize-to-trip overspeed protection system. If your application does not require an energize-to-trip model, AX control also carries a 24 Vdc de-energize-to-trip model.

 

Protection from devices that produce electromagnetic interference is one of the precautions that should be taken when installing ProTech 203 model 9907-346. If avoidance of close proximity to such devices is not possible, double-shielded wire, shielded cable run-in conduit, or other precautions may be necessary.
