General Information

The 9905-864 is a Woodward Peak 150 low-cost digital control for single-valve and single-valve rack steam turbines. This model was made to act as an AC/DC, NEMA 4X rated model in the series. This means that in addition to being water-tight and dust-tight, this model is designed to operate in corrosive environments, unlike many other digital controls. This unit, like others in the series, is set up using the separate handheld programmer unit in order to reduce unwanted change to your system.

Unit Features

This unit has series-standard features such as the front keypad with 6 switches and LED indicators to allow the operator to quickly read and interact with the system. The 9905-864 has a NEMA D motor type to help allow for tighter control of the turbine speed. This unit has dual speed control dynamics and an overspeed trip test. The CPU of this unit is a 16-bit, 12MHz microprocessor, and the status of this processor can be checked via the indicator light on the front panel. Other indicators display the statuses of the 2 magnetic pickups, overspeed test, remote speed setting signal, and shutdown.
