Product Description

The Master Synchronizer and Load Control (MSLC-2) series are available at AX Control INC. Part number 8440-1977 is one of the controls within the MSLC-2 series. For this part to function properly the power supply required to run the control is twelve/twenty Vdc or eight to forty Vdc. When connecting a power supply to your control make sure that the power supply is strictly connected to terminal sixty-three. 

Control unit 8440-1977 can be used in a synchronizer mode, be sure that when you are using your control in synchronizer mode the operator takes into account the following five conditions within the two systems; the direction of rotation, the frequencies, the phase angle of the voltage, the number of phases, and the voltage amplitudes; if you take those conditions into account operation of the controller should run smoothly. 

During the operation of your controller, the operating and storage temperature is key to having your control function properly. The storage temperature of your device should be in the range of negative forty to eighty-five degrees Celsius; the operating temperature of your device should be in the range of negative forty to seventy degrees Celsius. Having a different temperature range when using your control can cause potential errors to occur, overheating is one of the main errors than can occur.
