Product Description

This module is one of the several Woodward Inc. devices available from sale from us at AX Control Inc. We are able to provide a wide selection of these industrial generator regulation and control devices, as we have several Woodward modules in stock as both used hardware and never used surplus. The Woodward DCLS and MCLS units, as well as the SPM-A and SPM-D Synchronizer modules. This unit is a part of the Generator Loading Control series of individual units. The numerical ID for this model is 8271-923. The 8271-923 GLC unit is designed for the basic function of controlling and adjusting the electrical load that the generator it is attached to has assumed due to the generator set. The standard operating method is done one of two ways. If the 8271-923 is utilizing an isolated power system, then one GLC unit can be used with each load sharing and speed control function. The 8271-923 is connected to the paralleling line of the available load sharing and speed control, and is able to sense a voltage representing the generator’s load. If a local power system that is paralleled to an infinite bus is utilized, then the 8271-923 is able to operate up to 15 load sharing and speed controls. The load sharing system is connected to the 8271-923 by paralleling lines. The 8271-923 is covered by our comprehensive, automatic warranty immediately upon purchase. We are able to provide this Woodward GLC model as both a brand new, or used, reconditioned unit.
