Product Description

Model 8290-192 is part of the Electrically Powered Governor series with Woodward. However, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is currently found through sources like AX Control. This product is a droop speed control device and can work on prime movers in a complete EPG system. A speed control device needs to be added to an actuator and magnetic pickup in order to create a complete EPG system. Product 8290-192 operates on a 12-volt battery. Actuators that are compatible with this device include 512, 524, 1724, and 1712. Actuators will have a serrated output shaft on each end.
