Product Description

Model 8290-148 is a speed control product from the Woodward Electrically Powered Governor series. It is an isochronous speed control device, designed to be used on prime movers with low mass and low friction. The products in this series can be used without a hydraulic oil supply or mechanical drive. It is manufactured with cast aluminum so it can withstand high heat. The temperature range for model 8290-148 is -40 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit. This product can work with prime movers powered by gasoline, gas, and diesel, and it can be installed near the actuator and battery.
