Product Description

A Woodward actuator driver from the Electrically Powered Governor series is model 8290-134. It is made to be used on prime movers and can be used on multiple models of actuators. The actuators of this device are compatible with models 4024, 1724, 512, and 724. No mechanical drive or hydraulic supply is needed to operate this Woodward device.

The actuator driver model 8290-134 is designed to be used while unattended. The VDC range of this product has a minimum of 20 VDC and a maximum of 32 VDC. The minimum battery charger capability is 5A. The system battery voltage is 24 volts, and the maximum power consumption is 95 watts.

When installing this product, 12 AWG and 14 AWG wiring can be used. The temperature range is between -40 and 167 degrees Fahrenheit. This device can be used on prime movers that operate with gas, gasoline, or diesel. It is compliant with EU Directives and is designed with cast aluminum. It can also be used with load-sharing accessories. While model 8290-134 has been discontinued through the original manufacturer, it is currently available with AX Control. These devices can be bought, sold, or repaired through AX Control, and repairs are given a three-year-long warranty.
