Product Description

A Woodward droop speed control device that belongs to the Electrically Powered Governor series is model 8290-075. It is made to be operated with prime movers without the need for a hydraulic supply or mechanical supply and works with 1712 and 512 actuators. This device can be used with turbines that are powered by diesel and gas. When adding this speed control device to magnetic pickup and an actuator it will make an EPG system. The speed control device can be installed on the prime mover, in well-ventilated and protected locations. It should be kept safe from any moving products and weather events, with the ability to naturally cool down.

• Temperature range of -40 to 167 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Speed range of 6000 to 12000 Hz.
• Wire lengths of 20 feet and 60 feet.
