Product Description

A speed control device that comes out of the Woodward Electrically Powered Governor series is model 8290-032. When used with magnetic pickup and an actuator it will create a full EPG system. It is made for use with prime movers and is compatible with gasoline-powered engines. It operates with clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Product 8290-032 is powered by a 12-volt battery.

The ambient temperature range for this device is from -40 to 93 degrees Celsius. The magnetic input used should have a minimum of 1.5 VRMS. Model 8290-032 is designed with steel and aluminum materials to be long-lasting, and is compliant with EU Directives. Wire length requirements range from 75 feet to 35 feet depending on if 12 AWG or 14 AWG is used. 12 AWG has a maximum length of 75 feet, and the maximum length for 14 AWG wire is 35 feet.
