Product Description

Model 8256-085 is an actuator from Woodward, a part of the Electrically Powered Governor series. This sealed position actuator can be used with speed control and magnetic pickup to create a full EPG system. Just like the other products in this Woodward series, model 8256-085 is made to be effective, responsible, and reliable. This actuator is powered by a 12-volt battery and will consume no more than 60 watts of power. It was designed for use on prime movers, such as gasoline and diesel engines. A capability to withstand high heat makes it possible to mount the product near the prime mover it will be working with. However, it cannot be installed directly on the engine. One of the best locations for installing is the switchgear cabinet. It utilizes single-phase droop and isochronous control. This actuator is EU Directive compliant and EMC Directive qualified.

Additional information for model 8256-085 includes;
