Product Description

An actuator that comes out of the Woodward Electrically Powered Governor series is model 8256-022. The product can be part of a complete EPG system when combined with speed control and MPU. This actuator is great for prime movers and can be used on gas, diesel, or gasoline engines. It can also be operated without a hydraulic oil or mechanical drive supply. The actuator is made with corrosive resistant material made to help it withstand high heat, and last for a while. It can be mounted to a panel that can then be mounted near the engine. Model 8256-022 is one of the more lightweight actuators, only weighing around 0.5 pounds. They are made to operate with low-friction and low-mass.
