Product Description

Model 8256-021 is a rotary actuator from Woodward. It is part of the manufacturer’s Electrically Powered Governor series, and one of three parts that creates a complete EPG system. This product can be used on diesel engines and mounted on a panel near the engine itself. However, it should not be installed directly on the engine.

Product 8256-021 weighs a little under two pounds, making it a lightweight tool to utilize. The ambient temperature when operating this actuator should be kept between -40 and 93 degrees Celsius.

It can use either isochronous control or single-phase droop control. The power supply on this electrical actuator is 24 Vdc. It is designed to be used without a hydraulic supply or mechanical drive.
