Model 8256-009 is an actuator, used as speed control on a range of engines. It was manufactured by Woodward and is part of the Electrically Powered Governor series. For a full EPG system an actuator, speed control, and magnetic pickup are needed. This product weighs under two pounds and is compatible with gas and diesel engines. However, it may not be compatible with every type of engine speed system. Actuator model 8256-009 can be used and stored in temperatures that range from -40 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and a corrosive-resistant material makes it a long-lasting product. However, excessive heat is not recommended for these models.
