Product Description

The 8406-120 is an EGCP-2 Engine Generator Control Package model manufactured by Woodward. This microprocessor-based unit is suitable only for use in non-hazardous locations and is rated for an operating temperature of –20 to +70 °C (storage temp rating of –40 to +105 °C). This model is designed for use with speed control and an automatic voltage regulator for gas or diesel generator sets up to 30,000 kW. The 8406-120 can be configured to operate utility paralleled or stand-alone. This is a high voltage model designed for small- to medium-sized generator sets

The 8406-120 measures 11.1 x 14.1 x 2.7 inches and features a keypad and two backlit LCD displays on the front panel. This front panel is used to configure site-specific requirements and to monitor the unit operation and alerts. The two screens also enable users to simultaneously monitor and tune related parameters. These screens display eight lines of status information, with the option of four lines of configuration or alarm log information. There is also a red LED on the front panel, used to indicate alarm conditions and shutdown conditions.
