About the EasyGen-3500XT-P1

This easYgen-3000 series model offers a range of functions for engine, generator, and mains control and protection. easYgen-3500XT-P1 has a few expanded capabilities compared to other controllers in this Woodward series, including the ability to connect up to 16 LS-5 Series circuit breaker control devices. Like the other easYgen-3000 models, this unit can control up to 32 gensets in one application.

easYgen model 3500XT-P1 has a built-in HMI consisting of a color LCD and protected soft keys. The operator interface is protected by multi-level password protection (four levels). Configurable parameters can be accessed through this HMI or via PC. There are numerous configurable set points supported by the easYgen-3500XT-P1 controller. A few of these set points are:

  • Speed
  • Frequency
  • Voltage
  • Power
  • Reactive power
  • Power factor

This unit does not have external analog inputs/outputs that are included in the P2 models. Both P1 and P2 versions have analog and discrete I/Os, but they have different numbers of each. The two packages focus on slightly different applications. easYgen3500XT-P1 is more suited for complex paralleling applications. Woodward easYgen-3000 product spec sheet 37583 clearly lays out the differences between these two versions.

easYgen-3500XT-P1 meets IP20 standards, as well as IP66 standards with screw fastening, or IP54 standards with clamp fastening.
