Product Description

This Woodward generator set controller can control up to 32 connected gensets and has the capability to provide full connectivity for up to 16 Woodward LS-5 Series controllers. Genset controllers in the easYgen-3000 series are suitable for a range of applications, including but not limited to:

  • Stand-by
  • Peak shaving
  • Distributed generation
  • Import-export
  • Cogeneration

Model easYgen-3500-1-P1 specifically is compatible with multigrid, multi-segment applications.

This particular model has a built-in, multilingual HMI. Configurable parameters, control functions, and monitoring functions can be directly accessed through the LCD and soft key operator interface, or remotely via PC using Woodward’s ToolKit software. This HMI is protected from unauthorized access through multi-level password protection. An event recorder with a real-time clock logs up to 300 entries (FIFO). The event recorder has a battery backup in case of power failure.

easYgen-3500-1-P1 has many inputs/outputs, both discrete and analog, including external analog I/Os (via CANopen) which are not included in the P2 version. The I/Os on this model are as follows:

  • Configurable discrete outputs – up to 12
  • External discrete I/Os (CANopen) – 32 / 32
  • Configurable analog inputs (+/- 20 mA, 0..10 V, 0..250/500/2500 Ω) – 3
  • Configurable analog outputs (+/- 10V, +/- 20mA, PWM) – 2
  • External analog I/Os (CANopen) – 16 / 4

This easYgen controller also has twelve discrete alarm outputs, of which nine are configurable.
