Product Description

The easYgen-3200-5-P1 model is suitable for a variety of applications such as distributed generation, AMF, peak shaving, stand-by, cogeneration, and more. Like other generator set controllers in the Woodward easYgen-3000 series, this model can be used to control up to 32 connected gensets.

This is one of the 3200 models in the easYgen series, so it has an HMI built into the front panel of the unit. The operator interface consists of a color LCD and soft keys. Configuration of this controller and any connected gensets can be done through this interface or via PC (ToolKit software). The HMI is protected against unauthorized access/changes through multi-level password protection.

Because easYgen-3200-5-P1 is a Package 1 model, it does not have a few of the features included in the Package 2 models. If your application requires PID controllers, engine cylinder temperature protection, or external analog inputs/outputs (via CANopen), the P2 version of this model should be used.

easYgen-3200-5-P1 has both discrete and analog I/Os (both configurable), though there are some differences in the number of each between the P1 and P2 models. For details on the difference in product specifications between the two models, please refer to Woodward easYgen manual 37258P.

With the screw fastening, this Woodward genset controller meets IP66 standards. With the clamp fastening, it meets IP54 standards. The back of this unit meets IP20 ratings. This controller is in a plastic housing that is designed for front panel flush mounting.
