8440-2163 is an easYgen-3000 series genset control, offering complete engine-generator protection and control in rental or mobile genset applications. There are several available models in this Woodward series. Part number 8440-2163 is the 3400-5/P1-K32 model.

This model has 5A CT inputs. It is a Package 1 model in a metal housing, designed for rear panel mounting. There is no built-in HMI on this model. easYgen control models with a built-in display (in plastic housing) are available through AX Control.

The easYgen K32 rental genset applications models have additional features not included in the standard 3400 genset controls. The 3400 K32 models are compatible with the Woodward LS-5 series circuit breaker controls. Additionally, they have four blocks of switchable parameter settings. Sixteen configurable parameters are in each block.

Along with these new features, part 8440-2163 still has all the same functionality as the standard 3400-P1 genset control. Load transfer, breaker control, soft loading/unloading, and much more, are all still supported for up to 32 units.

8440-2163 has a Class 1 accuracy rating. It has a 50/60 Hz (40 to 85 Hz) measuring frequency and a primary setting range of 50 to 650,000 Vac. This genset control has both discrete and analog I/Os.
