Product Description

Part 8440-2162 is a paralleling genset control. It is capable of standardizing control functions for up to 32 gensets in rental or mobile applications. The 8440-2162 control may sometimes be listed as model easYgen-3400-1/P1-K32. 

The expanded feature set of this P1-K32 model includes:

• 4 switchable parameter settings blocks
• Compatibility with circuit breaker controls in the Woodward LS-5 series

Each of the four switchable parameter settings blocks in the 8440-2162 genset control contains sixteen parameters, all of which are configurable. These include such parameters as setpoint power factor, load control, application mode, and breaker transition mode. There is an external switch on this unit for parameter set selection. This easYgen control comes with 1A CT inputs. For I/Os on this Package 1 model, there are 12 each discrete inputs and relay outputs (P1), 32/32 external discrete I/Os (CANopen), and 16/4 external analog I/Os (CANopen).

Model 8440-2162 is in a metal housing and intended for rear panel mounting. It does not have a built-in display. If your application requires a genset control with a built-in HMI and front panel mounting, those models are also available on AX Control.
