The Woodward 8440-2087 model is from the easYgen-3000 series and is alternatively known as the easYgen-3400XT-P2 model, the device is housed in sheet metal and does not come with an LCD screen that can be used regarding the information on operating modes as well as potential alarm classes, because of the lack of screen another remote control must be connected to the device.

As this device is an easYgen-3400 model it will have LEDs on the front of the control panel, and there is a COMMS and RUN LED on the front of the device. There are four states that your LEDs can be in, for your COMMS LED they will either be not illuminated, blinking green, blinking green/red, or illuminated red; for your RUN LED they will either be not illuminated, blinking green/red, illuminated red or illuminated green, each LED state indicates something different. For example, when the COMMS LED is blinking green it indicates that some data has been received by one of the interfaces.

It is vital to the operation of your controller that you take caution in using the correct voltages, and especially the correct busbar voltages, there are different phases between the P1 and P2 models, the phase for the P1 models are 1-ph and the phase for the P2 models are 3-ph. Be cautious at what temperature you are operating your control as well, operating temperature for the easYgen-3400 models differs slightly compared to the easYgen-3500, the proper operating temperature is negative forty to positive seventy degrees Celsius.
