Part number 8440-2079 is under the easYgen-3000 series which Woodward Inc makes. This model is part of the easYgen-3400 series and is a P2 model. This model is made from sheet metal and needs to be connected to the inside of a cabinet. One of the features of your controller is its ability for cogeneration as well as its automatic mains failure and peak shaving operation. 

Please note that if you are using your controller to be operated in parallel with the mains voltages the controller needs to be connected to the measuring inputs of the mains voltage. While you are using your controller please note that the discrete inputs on your controller will be in two different categories, fixed and programmable. The fixed inputs have specific functions that absolutely cannot be changed (depending on the application mode that has been configured to your device). The programmable outputs can be changed if needed, typically it will have been assigned a default function or a preconfigured alarm such as an emergency stop. 

The 8440-2079 has an alternate part number of easYgen-3400-1 P2. The P2 series is made a bit differently than the P1 series that the easYgen-3400 is under, some of the specific P2 series features are the analog inputs and the transistor outputs.
