Product Description

Part 8440-2051 is a 3200 P2 genset control model in the easYgen-3000 series. Controllers in this Woodward series are designed for a wide range of multiple unit operation applications and offer engine, generator, and mains protections. 3200 models such as this one include a built-in operator interface. Part 8440-2051 is in plastic housing, with the HMI built-in. This unit has 1A CT inputs and is intended for front panel mounting.

The HMI of this genset control consists of a color LCD and soft keys. Access to configuration controls is password protected, with multiple levels of access available. Set point configurations may be configured via the operator interface or PC (using ToolKit software). This easYgen model has an event recorder capable of recording up to 300 events. The recorder has a real-time clock with a battery backup.

With proper configuration, numerous protections are in place in applications where the easYgen genset controller is used. A few of these include conditions related to the engine over speed / under speed, engine speed/frequency mismatch, engine cylinder temperature unbalanced generator load, and phase shift/rotation field.

easYgen control model 8440-2050 has a robust set of control features. A few of the control features available with this model are:

  • Single unit and multi-unit operations
  • Load-dependent start/stop
  • Four operating modes (Automatic, Manual, Stop, Test)
  • Breaker control logic
