Part model 8440-2046 is from Woodward Incorporated’s easYgen-3000 series, the controller is also known as an easYgen-3500-1 Marine model, the 3500 model is referred to as a flush mounted model which has a sealed soft-keys display and has an easy-to-read, large, back-lit LCD screen, this controller can be manually operated compared to the easYgen-3400 Marine model which cannot be manually operated and needs to be operated remotely as it does not have a display screen. Your controller features a single communication link that must be used between a generator and a PMS set. 

Your controller contains the capability to change the language setting on your device, the languages supported on your device are German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Slovak, English, and Polish. It also features a redundant/dual generator breaker feedback monitoring system. The marine approvals for this model are GL, BV, DNV, LR, and ABS. 

The 8440-2046 model comes with a LogicsManager within the device which helps connect the input signals and internal states with time elements and logical operators which help execute complex control tasks. The LogicsManager will help with tasks within your specified application mode which can be as a load sharing module with synchronization, as a Genset controller for emergency-run-generators, or as a load sharing module equipped with or without synchronization that can interact with up to sixteen LS-5 controls.
