Product Description

Part 8440-2030 (alternately labeled as easYgen-3500-5) is a Woodward genset control designed for multiple unit operation in applications such as peak shaving, co-generation, multiple unit mains parallel operations, and more. This control was released in the easYgen-3000 series. It has a 12/24 Vdc power supply. Model 8440-2030 is optimized for use with up to sixteen Woodward LS-5 synchronizers and load share controllers, and up to 32 generators.

Woodward model 8440-2030 has a built-in operator interface. The interface consists of soft keys and one 5.7” 320x240 color LCD. This HMI is located on the front panel of the genset control’s plastic housing. It has multi-lingual capabilities, and four access levels, three of which are password protected, and restrict access to configuration functions through the interface.
 

8440-2030 has a Class 1 accuracy rating and an IP 20 protection system. It has both discrete and analog I/Os, the latter of which are freely scalable. Woodward easYgen-3000 manual 37528 contains more information on product specifications and features of the 8440-2030 genset model.
