This part is also an easYgen-3400-1-P1 model, parts in the P1 series are smaller than their P2 series counterparts which are equipped with more inputs/outputs and connector options. Please note that the easYgen-3400-1-P1 model is housed in a metal frame and can take damage easier. When you are unpacking and installing your controller please ensure no damage has occurred on your controller’s frame, any damage can cause potential hazards. 

Your controller features generator voltage monitoring which will typically monitor either the delta (phase-phase) voltages or the wye (phase-neutral) voltage, please note that if your controller is being used in an isolated or compensation network voltage monitoring must be configured as a wye to be sure that earth faults are prevented and do not cause voltage protection tripping. 

Alarm classes are configured into your device, there are A/B/C/D/E/F classes, and a limit can be assigned to each independent alarm class which would specify any of the actions that need to be taken when the set limit has been reached as well as surpassed.

One of the Woodward product lines is the EasyGen 3000 Series, which contains the 8440-1956. This unit can and will connect to thirty-two other Genset units connecting and controlling them at the same time. The sole reason for its less-than-perfect rating is its lack of availability. -AX Control Tech Team
