Product Description

The controller model number 8440-1945 is manufactured by Woodward Inc. The controller is from Woodward’s easYgen-3000 series, the 3000 series is broken down into many different part specifications and different modules, this controller has an alternate part number, and the part number is easYgen-3400-1-P1. The easYgen-3400 models are housed in a sheet metal frame, the model that has sheet metal frames are not equipped with an LCD screen and must be operated remotely. The P1 series models also have fewer interfaces for connection on their frames. 

Your controller has eleven basic application modes which are as follows; GCB/L-GGB, GCB/L-GGB/L-MCB, GCB/GGB/L-MCB, GCBopen, GCB/MCB, GCB, none, GCB/LS5, GCB/GGB, GCB/L-MCB, and GCB/GGB/MCB. Each of these application modes has completely different functionalities. For example, the GCB/GGB/L-MCB application will start/stop the engine, offer protection for the engine/generator, operates with auto mains failure (AMF), and many other functions. 

The easYgen-3400 model comes with master/slave control capabilities and can be used with mains parallel and islanded operations. Your controller is also equipped with analog I/O and discrete expansion board connectivity features. The dimensions of your 8440-1946 model are 250 mm by 227 mm by 84 mm, typically this model is used for cabinet mounting.
