Within the Woodward easYgen-3000 product line is the 8440-1933. This unit, like others of the easYgen-3000 series, is a Genset Controller. It is able to connect and control thirty-two other Genset series units. The 8440-1933 is a high-functioning tool that is able to perform many different tasks that enable maximum usage and proficiency. Such features that are built in 8440-1933 and allow it to do numerous tasks. A prime example is its Import and Export control which can be done at interchangeable points. 

The 8440-1933 also comes with FlexIn which is a built-in feature that enables three analog inputs that are free to configure and are adaptable for several types of senders. The 8440-1933 also has built-in counters for hours, start, and maintenance operation. There is also its feature that involves remote control through an interface as well as a discrete input. A prime feature worth mentioning is the built-in event recorder. That can record up to 330 events that does include a real-time clock that has a battery that is backed up for up to a minimum of five years.
