The controller model 8440-1911 is manufactured by Woodward Inc under their easYgen-3000 series. The alternate part number for this model is easYgen-3200-5-P2, the easYgen-3200 series of models is housed in plastic and comes with a display to help operate the controller as well as help differentiate the different alarms and operating modes occurring within the controller. This controller can be used with mains parallel, multiple unit mains parallel, island and island parallel operations. 

When you are installing your controller it should go on the front panel of the device you are connecting the 8440-1911 model to, to connect your controller use either a clamp fastener kit or a screw kit, the IP 66 on your control unit will be better protected if the controller has been installed with a screw kit. All of the softkeys you will need to operate your controller are located on the front side of the control unit, the LCD screen on your controller will display the configuration of the model as well as the status information. 

The 8440-1911 model is equipped with dynamic mains stabilization which helps the controller operate at peak performance.
