Part number 8440-1902 is from Woodward Inc’s easYgen-3000 series, this series is made of a generator set (genset) controllers. This controller is one of those genset controllers, it has an alternate part number which is the easYgen-3200-5-K25. This controller is typically used with isolated, mains parallel, multiple unit mains parallel, and isolated operations. The 8440-1902 controller is equipped with LogicsManager which allows you to change the sequence of operations and adapt them to your particular needs. 

Your controller comes with many different features, two of which are breaker control, which controls the open-close control, breaker monitoring, and phase matching synchronization/slip frequency; the other feature is a configurable frequency control that can be used to manually control the breakers. Note that your controller should be operated in a temperature range of negative four to one hundred fifty-eight degrees Fahrenheit and should be stored in a range of negative twenty-two to one hundred seventy-six degrees Fahrenheit, anything lower or higher than the specified temperature range will cause your controller to overheat and cause potential errors.
