EasyGen-350
The EasyGen-350, manufactured by Woodward, Inc, is a GenSet Control module component that is part of Woodward’s easYgen-300 series of genset controllers. This series provides a number of functions, including

Password protected configuration

AMF (automatic mains failure) standby generator set control, with automatic engine start on a mains failure detection

CAN bus communication to engine controllers

Engine crank sequencing

Alarm display with circuit breaker trip and engine shutdown

Generator voltage measurement

Genset control

Data measurement, including measurement of battery voltage, speed, coolant temperature, and oil pressure and temperature
The EasyGen-350 also has GCB and MCB circuit breakers.
The EasyGen-350 includes a front HMI/human-machine interface. This panel includes a 7 segment alphanumeric display, LEDs, and several push buttons. This is used to display values during the module’s operation. Values are displayed numerically. Please refer to Woodward manuals or user guides for a complete list of values and messages that may be displayed on this unit. The display is also used to show alarm states. Other symbols on the front panel show engine alarm states like battery undervoltage, oil pressure, engine over/underspeed, and coolant overtemperature.
Please note that EasyGen-350 components are static-sensitive. User guides or manuals from Woodward such as Woodward’s manual no. 82715, entitled “Guide for Handling and Protection of Electronic Controls, Printed Circuit Boards, and Modules” will provide proper handling procedures for these modules. Information regarding the installation and operation of this module may be found through other publications provided by Woodward.
